Icynene LD-C-50™ and Icynene LD-CP-50™ Pour Foam Insulation
Icynene LD-C-50 Foam Insulation
Icynene’s LD-C-50 spray foam insulation is applied in the same way as Icynene’s other spray foams. It is sprayed on to the area as a liquid, propelled by 100% water, then almost immediately expands to 100 times its original volume. During the expansion it fills every crack and crevice in the area it is applied to for maximum protection against air and heat leakage.
All the while, LD-C-50 remains flexible and durable enough to hold the seal and insulate the building over time. It will not shrink, collapse, or sag. It has, and will continue to have, an R-value of 3.6 per square inch. This ensures that you will have the optimum energy efficiency and minimum air leakage for years to come. It will even minimize noise pollution from outdoors and minimize noises traveling from room to room.

Icynene LD-CP-50 Pour Foam Insulation
In order to be sure that every area of your home can be insulated without changing the architecture, Icynene offers a pour-fill variation of this insulation. Especially for older buildings undergoing renovations, there will likely be areas that would be better suited for a poured insulation than spray-on insulation. LD-CP-50 is poured into cavities and fills them completely from bottom to top by expanding up to 60 times its original volume. Since LD-CP-50 expands in the direction of least-resistance, and with only enough pressure to fill the empty space of the cavity, there is no chance that it will expand out or damage the wall. LD-CP-50 Pour Fill Formula has an R-value of 4 per square inch.
Both LD-C-50 and LD-CP-50 are great for insulating a new house or in updating the insulation of an old one. Our foam insulations don’t only insulate from heat and cold. They will minimize air movement through the walls to protect your family from airborne pollution and allergens. At the same time, minimizing the air movement in the wall cavities will stop moisture from causing mold damage or mold allergies. LD-C-50 will protect both the building itself and the people inside.
